Last week, Ulla Technologies participated in Web Summit Lisbon - one of the world’s largest tech gatherings. We had our own booth at A2-82, Pavilion 1 - ALPHA 2, where we met hundreds of attendees: startup founders, HR leaders, investors, and curious minds - all looking for what’s next in tech and team productivity.And as always at Web Summit - it was all energy, new connections, and a flood of ideas.
📌 The vibe at WebSummit 2025
This year’s summit brought together 70,000+ participants from all over the world, with hundreds of talks, panels, and demos across dozens of stages.
Themes covered across the venue aligned strongly with what we care about at Ulla: AI, the future of work, ethical tech, team culture, and human-first tools for collaboration and performance.
And the speaker line-up? Just as iconic as expected - founders, tech leaders, futurists.Opening Night kicked off with:

One of the standout moments - and most unexpected - came from Khaby Lame, the famously silent content creator. With just a few lines and gestures, he got the entire crowd laughing and reflecting on what it means to balance business with creativity.
🎯 Why we came to WebSummit
We weren’t there as tourists - we had a mission:To show that Ulla® Family is more than just another HR or meeting tool. It’s a rethinking of how teams collaborate, communicate, and grow.
Web Summit gave us the perfect stage for this:
✅ We talked to people looking for real solutions - from chaotic meetings and disengaged teams to burnout and lack of transparency.✅ We saw just how wary many companies are of “black box” AI - which let us share our values: analytics without secrecy, intelligence without surveillance.✅ We heard real-world questions about scaling teams, productivity in hybrid work, and emotional strain - all things Ulla was built to address.

We weren’t pitching “just another SaaS.”We talked about changing meeting culture, team culture, company culture.And what we saw? People are hungry for that - even the ones looking for “quick AI magic.”

The main theme: AI + the future of work + ethics + human-tech balance - exactly what we’ve been talking about for years.
We joined sessions on how AI is reshaping HR, leadership, and startups - and how important it is to do it responsibly, with focus on people, transparency, and trust.
The Startup Pitch sessions were filled with incredible ideas, fierce competition, and real energy. But what we noticed is this:Tools that stand out today are the ones that lead with empathy, not just efficiency.
